Join this adventurous little sea star and his best buddy Barnaby (a blob fish) as they travel through the beautiful deep blue sea, meeting many other creatures of the deep. When the two friends finally stumble upon the perfect present, Alistar needs to make a difficult decision, which only he can make. For Linda Crowley, the first day of the year had always been set aside to work on new, positive beginnings and 1970 was no different. Her husband and children were by all accounts healthy and no one even considered the terrible thought that tragedy would strike before the day was over, and life as she had known it was gone.

Yes, today I had it all – the 50 Shades date, complete with roses, chocolate and dinner. Beat It!

Over the weekend several people have joined the 10,000 step/beat sugar challenge. I'm in the gearing up phase – yesterday that meant finishing all the chocolate hidden in the freezer. Somewhere Safe With Someone Good

Did a book ever make you feel warm and cozy and at home wherever you are? The Jan Karon books do that to me. How a series about the everyday life of an elderly episcopal priest can do that – I don't know. Any writer I know would NEVER tout that as a subject . . . → Read More: Somewhere Safe With Someone Good

What A Find!

Some years ago I became acquainted with a rock musician from LA. She needed a place to stay while playing a gig here in Boston. We corresponded back and forth, but then the gig didn’t happen. We lost touch, but I kept following her musical career on Facebook. Since then she’s made two CD’s and . . . → Read More: What A Find!

Summer Camp 2014

Once again it was time for the Cape Cod Writers Annual conference. Instead of a week long camp this year it was reduced to a long weekend to give working people a chance to take more courses.

Get Down To It!

Well the wedding is over, so now it’s time to shift focus and “get down to it”. It is time to drag out my own picture book that I wrote in the summer of 2011 and do something with it. I remember the day I wrote that book. It started with the words and pictures . . . → Read More: Get Down To It!

Tiny Musings # 4 – Not – Do One Little Thing

Today my tiny musing won’t fit into 140 characters no matter how hard I try. And that is a good thing because it means writing is becoming easier again. Today is about having a big goal and doing one little thing, the very first step, towards it.

I’ve mentioned in a past post that . . . → Read More: Tiny Musings # 4 – Not – Do One Little Thing

Tiny Musings #2 – The Vessel

Surrendering to being God’s vessel is like going white water rafting without a paddle – you don’t get to steer – you just hang on!

And so, as another day goes by, more on this tomorrow, stay tuned, and…I have written.

Be nice…please share.
