For Linda Crowley, the first day of the year had always been set aside to work on new, positive beginnings and 1970 was no different. Her husband and children were by all accounts healthy and no one even considered the terrible thought that tragedy would strike before the day was over, and life as she had known it was gone.

Marketing! Marketing! Marketing!

This post first appeared in The Cape Cod Children’s Writers Blog on January 23 2014.

I have never moved my work very far simply because marketing has always been, for a self-published author, much too daunting for me. Just panacea of online information on how to go about it makes my head hurt and venture . . . → Read More: Marketing! Marketing! Marketing!

Click. Click. Click. There’s no place like home. Follow your passion. Find your passion. It’s the pathway to happiness, so goes the recent hype. I jerk my head up and think, I better hurry up and get out there and search for mine. I don’t know how you define “success”, but if you’re like me you define it by achieving a goal you set. If you mention the word success it automatically communicates that something has been accomplished – and it was a positive thing.

A few of my goals were to write this blog everyday and . . . → Read More: Success…or Not?…or Maybe?

Adding Meaning

I follow my school district on Facebook and today there was a great quote on there by Joshua Marine:

Wait But Why?

This morning I woke up to a blog published in the Huffington Post, placed in my timeline by my daughter. I quickly opened it up and read the article because my daughter never posts to my timeline and when she does, I figure it’s a big deal.

I really liked the blog. The name . . . → Read More: Wait But Why?

K-Cup Heaven

Today I drove back to the Cape and had to work the 4-7 shift at the Koko Centerville location. I’ve only been here once and am not to familiar with the shops in the plaza. It was 3:45 and way past my afternoon coffee time. I pulled into Bell Tower Mall and looked around for . . . → Read More: K-Cup Heaven
