For Linda Crowley, the first day of the year had always been set aside to work on new, positive beginnings and 1970 was no different. Her husband and children were by all accounts healthy and no one even considered the terrible thought that tragedy would strike before the day was over, and life as she had known it was gone.

Grammy

No, I don’t mean the musical award, but yes, I do mean an award! There is nothing like having your child have a child. Nothing. Friends of mine who have already experienced this tried to tell me. I would smile and say I couldn’t wait, but I didn’t actually feel it – yet. You can’t . . . → Read More: Grammy

I Need Problems. What?

Yes, that is what I read somewhere a few weeks ago. I need problems. We all do. It’s problems that keep us alive. Can you believe it? What’s The Use?

Over the past few weeks I have noticed people in my newsfeed have stopped posting political rantings. I think they are realizing that you are not going to change anyone’s mind at this point, so what’s the use? For every article you post about your candidate, the other side can find an opposing article or . . . → Read More: What’s The Use?

Alistar & Octavia Finally Come to Life!

Day 1 & 2 – Not So Bad!

Monday was Day 2 of my 21 Day Fat Burn Booster. Tuesday was rest day. I kind of liked not having to leave the house until 9:15. Maybe this is a hidden reward for doing the program.

Day 1: I had to do the first cardio treadmill program and I was a bit nervous. (I . . . → Read More: Day 1 & 2 – Not So Bad!

Tomorrow

After months of planning, my first born’s wedding is tomorrow. You spend their life celebrating all the “firsts”. First day of school, first T ball game, first lost tooth, graduations from pre-school through college, etc. With each milestone you marvel at how their level of independence mushrooms.

But there is something different about their wedding . . . → Read More: Tomorrow

Frustration At Its Best

My last post was May 27th. Today is June 7. Really? I haven’t had a thought worthwhile of sharing since may 27? No. That’s not the case. I have thoughts. Everyday. Good thoughts that you might like to hear, except I have no time to sit down and flesh them out into a readable post. . . . → Read More: Frustration At Its Best

I Would Like To Be Trusted

Someone has some good information or product for sale. I purchase it and actually like it and benefit from it. I begin to think this person is really credible as I take some of their advice or use their product and find it really works. Then they persist in ruining my opinion of them by . . . → Read More: I Would Like To Be Trusted
